Humidity indicator cards (HICS)

Humidity indicator cards (HICS) are printed with moisture sensitive circles which respond to levels of humidity changing colour from blue to pink. When the dry packed moisture barrier bag is opened, the card can be examined checking for colour changes due to moisture. This indicates that the barrier bag and desiccant functioned correctly.

Pink Poly Bags : Made of antistatic polyethylene film that under normal working conditions does not generate triboelectric charges. The bags are tough, amine free, and do not affect polycarbonate housings nor cause corrosion. The product is transparent and tinted pink. Typical film thichness 70 microns. Bags are hot foil printed in yellow with a descriptive text and logo to comply with EN 61340-1. Packaging for non-ESD sensitive devices that are required in ESD protected areas e.g. passive components, screws. Do not store in an overheated warehouse.
